Using cutting-edge materials like memory foam, gel insoles, and anti-shock cushioning from hiking boots, they crafted slippers focused on maximizing comfort for those who spend long hours on their feet, whether outdoors or indoors.
The first batch of handmade RockDove slippers, named after the ubiquitous rock dove (pigeon) of the Santa Monica Pier, was a hit. Within two months, the small experiment generated 350 mail orders, and the RockDove brand was born.
Today, RockDove remains firmly rooted in West Hollywood, just down the road from where it all started. The brand's entire team, from product design to customer support, is still based in the local community. This homegrown heritage ensures RockDove understands American sizing and fit, setting them apart from foreign brands that struggle to get it right.
